ANDROID VERSIONS

The moment when I bought home a new android smartphone, google anounces the release of a new OS and we've been seeing a continuous rollout on Android flagships ever since. With every new version comes new added features and of course, a lot of improvements with bug fixes.
Oreo is the latest offering from google, but not all the smartphones presently available in the market has been updated to oreo.
The Android Oreo update rolled out first for the Pixel and Pixel XL, as well as the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player and Pixel C.
The following manufacturers are scheduled to update or launch.
Android versions has come a long way from its first version with no code name, released in 23rd September 2008.
Android code names have been in alphabetical order since 2009's Android 1.5 CUPCAKE followed by-
DONUT
ECLAIRS
FROYO
GINGERBREAD
HONEYCOMB
ICE CREAM SANDWICH
JELLY BEAN
KITKAT
LOLLIPOP
MARSHMALLOW
NOUGUT
OREO

When a new Software releases, we generally consider it to be better than its predecessor. So, the most noticeble features in Oreo is the bundled notifications that are easier to manage and read,  the new picture-in-picture (PiP) mode for video, allowing you to watch a video or video chat while doing other things on the phone at the same time and the autofill framework which  is designed to make filling out forms, such as login and credit card forms, much faster and easier.
